2: Dime–stores were common in the early part of the 20th c. Every main street had such a store where you could buy tawdry, second-rate stuff for cheap prices. (Now they're Dollar stores, though these are not as common or a central fixture in every town.)

  * e.g.,  ... I'll take Crumb's cartoons over the banal musings of a dime-store philosopher any day.

1: (1) a very cheap prostitute or (2) a girl dressed so as to look undressed

  * e.g.,  ... With her miniskirt and combat boots, Rachel looked like a dime-store whore. 

 [ "Dime Store Slut" ]

1: A female who knows how to take a dick.

  * e.g.,  ... I met this Dime Store Slut last night who was down to fuck. 

 [ "dime store pimp" ]

1: A low rent wannabe pimp. A person who thinks they have nice cloths or have a nice car but they are really just cheap junk.

  * e.g.,  ... That guy over there in that suped up Oldsmobile, he ain't nothin' but a dime store pimp.

1: Someone who steels little inexpensive items and thinks he's a boss. Really just a small time outlaw.

  * e.g.,  ... That dime store hood took a screwdriver when he could of took the whole set.

1: Someone who will commit a worthless crime for pennies instead of dollars . Someone who will do crime for a dime. A dirt bag that will steel from everybody when if he asked most likely you would give it to them.

  * e.g.,  ... That that dime store hood only took my controller and not my drone what good will that do for him. 

 [ "nickel and dime store" ]

1: See dime. A nickel and dime store is a group of mixed dimes and non-dimes, i.e. attractive and unattractive people.

  * e.g.,  ... Some of those chicks over there are hot, but the others aren't, it's a nickel and dime store.
